Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing

Fairfields is very pleased to organise the first event of its kind in the UK - ‘The First UK International Manga Art Show.’ There have, of course, been a small number of very good exhibitions of Manga before in the UK, but this is the first exhibition which treats it purely as an art form and which has such an international selection of work by artists from all over the world.Although essentially a Japanese art form, this exhibition has work by artists from Japan, China, US, Italy, France, Canada, the UK...... Many of these artists whose work we are showing are only in their early twenties, and their work is a perfect sythesis of old and new. Indeed, many of these artists state their media as ‘Pencil and Photoshop CS.’
